These projects are great examples of how art beyond the so-called ‘white cubes’ or ‘black boxes’ can be extremely powerful in bringing about dialogues based on genuine curiousity and investigative fascination of “the other”. They are not a solution to inequality in and of itself but it can positively influence the results of the detrimental effects inequality has in a wide array of situations.
